Written on 06 June 2012 by Twitter just announced a new visual identity with a brand new logo. Techcrunch writes that the bird has a new haircut, upturned beak and sharper aerodynamic feathers.
“Starting today you’ll begin to notice a simplified Twitter bird. From now on, this bird will be the universally recognizable symbol of Twitter. (Twitter is the bird, the bird is Twitter.) There’s no longer a need for text, bubbled typefaces, or a lowercase “t” to represent Twitter.”

This is a nice new life for the social network…. and may be this is done just before Google buys the startup…
