Written on 20 April 2012 by A Star Wars fan dressed as a Stormtrooper walked 4,000 kilometers between Perth and Sydney in Australia, in order to raise money for Charity.
“Triumphant fundraiser Jacob French can finally put his feet up after completing a marathon charity trek across Australia dressed as a stormtrooper from George Lucas’ Star Wars. Shortly before he finished his trek he stopped off at Sydney Children’s Hospital where he was given a hero’s welcome and posed for a series of snaps.”
Jacob French walked up to 10 hours a day, lost 12 kg and had seven pairs of shoes during his 9-month’s trek.
The man didn’t collected $ 50 000 as expected but more than 100,000 dollars for Starlight Children’s Foundation, an non-profit organization dedicated to children with chronic and life-threatening medical conditions
