Written on 08 Dec 2011 by Starting yesterday Twitter updated its tweet/follow buttons quietly on all sites that had previously installed them. This time the entire site + the mobile version + Tweetdeck have a redesign.
This new version will be available within the next few weeks, except for mobile.twitter.com and Twitter for iPhone/Android that is available immediately.
As you can see from this screenshot, the big change comes from the inversion of the left and right columns (at least for web version). The tweets are now on the right, while the number of subscribers and the trends are located on the left :
Another major change is the quick access icons located at the top : Home, @mentions and interactions, # hashtags and discoveries, “My Profile” and write a Tweet :
Coming soon to your screens ladies and gentlemen : Fly.Twitter.com :
Now (Update), Pages are coming on Twitter (like on Facebook) and brands will have the ability to personalize them (header, title, etc.)
