Kony 2012 – Part 2
After 87 million views in just 4 weeks, Kony 2012 is one of the most viral videos of all-time.
But first campaign was not liked by everybody : it was also heavily criticized for its hollywood-movie style presentation, some of the facts not quite accurate and the lack of lack of representation for Ugandan people themselves. And the co-founder of Invisible Children Foundation and creator of the original video, Jason Russell, has been several weeks in hospital after he was found naked in the street (psychotic event).
The new video is 19 minutes long and tries to fix some points of the first video. The current CEO of Invisible Children Ben Keesey is narrating.
Kony buzz … you like it or not, but you can’t be indifferent. Because the video already made Internet history as one of the fastest viral-ad campaign ever.
