The parties thrown by Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) look enticing, as girls in flapper dresses dance around and bottles are popped. Midwestern outsider Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) takes in the glamorous scene just as the audience does.” source
The movie is an adaptation from “The Great Gatsby” novel by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald published in 1925.
