Here comes Google’s Spring-cleaning…
After Knol, Wave, Gears and Friend Connect in november 2011, Google is now retiring many other services :
-Google One-Pass : my biggest surprise … while the service is only one year old and looked promising, this payment tool for content could replace some of the online advertising for medias, but it failed to attract readers. … Proof that it’s always hard in 2012 to charge a fee for content when you can find the same content… for free.
-Google-Related: Chrome extension that displayed similar websites
-Google Sync for Blackberry: synchronization tool is retired from June 1 2012 and Google suggests BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) instead.
-Google Flu Vaccine Finder : a tool to find a place in the U.S. where to be vaccinated against influenza. It’s now integrated in HealthMap.
-Mobile Google Talk app: the application is set aside in favor of the native Google Talk for Android.
-Google Patent Search: patent search is now integrated into google.com
