Written on 10 May 2012 by Google just updated the iPhone application for its social network Google+. And it’s much much more beautiful and intuitive than before.
Here is a list of changes :
-better look for posts and photos
-crisper fonts and larger profile pictures
-a more beautiful homepage screen
-the stream is easier to read with overlays, gradients and visual elements
-conversations fall into view as you move forward and backward in time
-Optical cues (like parallax) help the mind linger on individual posts
-Important actions like +1 now float atop the stream
You can download the new iPhone app here (it also works for iPad but you will need to zoom, so it’s not a real application for the tablet and you will need to wait if you’d like something better). Google said an android version of the application is coming in the next weeks, with some surprises.
