The 2012 London Olympics started is scheduled to start on July 27th, and already Google has something to honor the much-awaited event with – the Google Doodle, of course. The Google Doodle is scheduled to appear in various local Google sites, and those in the Asia and Pacific region were the first to check out the cute and interesting Doodle, eventually reaching to Google users in the UK and the U.S. The newest Doodle features an adorable cartoonish design featuring five different athletes and five different sporting sports to commemorate the Olympics.
As the 2012 London Olympics commences, moreover, sporting fans will be pleased to know that they can actually watch main competitions online, and even through their mobile devices. NBC is scheduled to stream live footage to web browsers so fans can watch Olympics events unfold in real time. To gain access to these real-time streams, however, online viewers will have to authenticate themselves as a pay TV subscriber, whether through logging into the TV provider’s site or through a viewing pass.
Authentication is really an essential step for anyone to get their needed dose of the 2012 London Olympics anytime and anywhere but once they’re in, they can easily access live coverages and streams almost on any device – whether through NBCOlympics.com, iPad or iPhone or via an Android device.
