Written on 05 April 2012 by Fisker Automotive revealed at 2012 New York Auto Show the new code name for its old “Nina” : Fisker Atlantic, which is actually a smaller version of the Fisker Karma.
The Californian automaker did not unveiled technical specs but you can see pictures and video below. As the Karma, the Fisker Atlantic is a plug-in hybrid vehicle that combines a gas-engine with an electric motor. She has an electric range of 83 km (50 miles). This is a sports sedan with four doors.
No price has been unveiled (though it’s likely that it could be around 45,000 dollars), neither the technical specifications. It must be said that Fisker Automotive, despite 921 million raised so far (yes you just read this ^^) is still having financial difficulties and is awaiting a U.S. government support to stay alive.
Best of luck to them. Don’t kill the electric car again!
