Facebook has released a detailed infographic on its security processes at the same time it announced a few extra layers to strengthen it (remember Trusted Friends).
0.06% of all Facebook logins are compromised every day on the billion connections made. 0.06% represents 600,000 hacked logins each day. This is a security breach every 140 milliseconds (3 more time it takes to blink eye) or 18 million compromised facebook connections every month.
Signs that tell your account could be hacked: some of your friends mysteriously disappear, or messages are sent from your account … (but you are not the author).
