Deezer, a french web-based music streaming service, is now available in Canada. And also in Australia and New Zealand.
The french startup (owned at 20% by Telecom & Mobile Operator Orange) continues to conquer the world and wants to have a presence in 200 countries this year (the site is already available in 12 languages). Founded in 2007 by Jonathan and Daniel Marhely Benassaya, this on-demand music listening service has 20 million users, 1.3 million subscribers and 6 million unique visitors per month.
The company has some agreements with 2,000 music labels including Warner, Sony, Universal and EMI. Deezer’s catalog now contains 15 million licensed tracks and 30,000 radio channels.

-Deezer Discovery : Free, only 30-second preview mode.
-Deezer Premium : $4.99 CAD/month. no ads, unlimited tracks, share music with friends, Deezer mixing desk.
-Deezer Premium Plus : $9.99 CAD/month. same as Premium account but with availabilty on mobile, on IP radio or IPTV, and offline mode (PC/Mac, mobile, tablet).
